SEAFOOD SCHOOL SEASONAL SPECIALS

We wanted an excuse to celebrate seafood through the year - so have chosen monthly special events so that our guests can celebrate with us.

THURSDAY 24TH JANUARY... is the night the Fish and Chip Shop of the Year is announced in London...
So we will celebrate that evening with our own EXTRAORDINARILY POSH FISH AND CHIP EVENING... and it is a classic recipe...
Everyone is thinking of dry and healthy January - but join us for an evening to create a French classic SOLE COLBERT with Truffle and Parmesan French Fries -Colbert in this instance was the name of a French diplomat - and this dish is named after him...
We will show you the best way to skin a Dover sole, part fillet it and pane it (culinary word to roll in flour, egg and fresh white breadcrumbs!) and then deep-fry... The bone is then removed - very easily - and a slice of Maitre d'Hotel butter spooned into the middle.
We will then cook some Pommes Frites and you can toss them in Parmesan and Truffle Oil. We will also serve this with some Winter bitter leaf salad on the side. 
PRICE FOR THIS EVENING: 60 per person - with a 10% discount for 3 or more places
(Dover sole is one of the most expensive fish - but well worth it!)



THURSDAY 14TH FEBRUARY - VALENTINES EVENT... 
Traditionally we think of oysters and a glass of fizz for Valentines... Bring your Valentine - learn how to shuck oysters - you will have 8 each - and then create the Seafood School Roast Oysters with Pancetta, Dill and Pernod to serve with Sourdough Bread, Mixed Winter Salad AND A GLASS of Fizz.
Our team will prepare Roast Queenie Scallops in the Shell with Blood Orange Hollandaise to taste!
PRICE FOR THIS EVENING: 40 per person or £70 per couple 


TUESDAY 5TH MARCH - PANCAKE SEAFOOD EVENT

We won't be tossing too many of these - you can if you want - but we will do a MIXED seafood stir-fry to include monkfish cheeks, prawns and smoked haddock to serve in your pancakes... with a twist .. and some chopped herbs in the batter. 
PRICE FOR THIS EVENING: 50 per person
