Evening Seafood School: Techniques (short evening)

Cost: £45.00 (10% discount applies when you book three or more places)

Fancy brushing up on your fish preparation techniques? Then join the team at Billingsgate for a relaxed evening where you can enjoy either enjoy your prepared fish for supper at the school or take it away to eat at home. 

Techniques and innovative cooking information is given, but no specific recipe.

Timings

6.30pm (prompt) start to 8.00pm approximately.

The school is open from 6.15pm for registration.

Class Size: 12-14

What to Expect

This evening is a focused session working with one species of fish where you will learn new skills and add to your repetiore.

We work with a wide selection of fish including: seabass/sea bream, Dover sole/lemon sole, scallops and cooked crab.

We look at the various preparation technqiues for each species of fish and give advice on a variety of cooking methods. 

 

Wednesday 22nd May

Dressed Crab (learn how to clean and prepare a cooked brown crab ready for dressing or to toss into a Chilli Crab Linguini)

Thursday 18th July

Bass and Bream Evening (Sea Bass Tray Roast with Pistou)

Enjoy your finished dish at the school or take it home.

Can I buy Fish

The market is closed in the evening. We can purchase extra fish for you on the day - contact our administration team to arrange this.
