Our free introductory events include 'Get into Fishmongering!' and 'Get into Fish frying!'

We have recently produced an Introduction to Fishmongering developed in conjunction with the Sea Fish Industry Authority (Seafish), course dates and more information here.

We offer opening learning work books (for distance learning) for easy access to Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) Level 2 Certifcates in Food Safety and Health and Safety certificates. The work books are completed in the candidates own time and require approximately six hours to complete. Once completed a multiple choice exam needs to be sat here at the Billingsgate. The cost of these packages is £50 plus £5 p&p if they are not collected from the market. This price includes registration, the work book, one exam and certificate on passing the exam, contact us here.

Our Quality Assessment of Seafood courses are designed for environmental health officers and technical managers within seafood companies, they focus on fish and shellfish. The delivery team includes experts from Billingsgate, Fishmongers' Company, Seafish and the Shellfish Association of Great Britain. The days delivers 7.5 hours certificated CPD.
